“Who’s actually running this website then?”

So it's actually me (Tim/Yxngxr1) and one of my besties Tom (he made the single and album artwork for digikid 1 & 2). We’ve worked really hard on this and i think the biggest thing for us is seeing people wear what we’ve made. It’s a two man operation so when you email the website, its just us doing everything so don’t be mean, we’re trying our best lmao.

 

"Why should i buy your merch when i like other artists more?”

Did your other favourite artist write pigeons? Didn’t think so. But seriously, being independent/not on a major label means we don’t have that massive push from a whole team of like 50 people who do everything and anything for us and the music, so every purchase means we can hire venues for shows and fund tours. We don’t expect you to buy anything but it does help so we can grow the music and take it around the world.

 

“What’s the quality like on the pieces?”

The quality of the tees and hoodies are insane. Both me and Tom have been buying our own merch and wearing it around forgetting it's actually our merch hahahaha. The hoodies are 350 gsm and oversized, and the tees are 230 gsm with a boxy fit.

 

“What’s the designs about?”

Well basically we wanted to make stuff that doesn’t look like obvious merch, but also anyone who knows the music will see it and you have that classic head nod moment where you both know what the tee is about. Ive also been looking at old band and vintage tees and i think the stuff we’ve designed will look sick in like 40 years when your kid finds the shirt/hoodie and says “what’s this?”, wears it and then proceeds to tell their mates its a vintage band tee from 2025.

 

“Am i gonna wash it once and it gets destroyed?”

From what me and tom have experienced, when we’ve washed them they’ve been completely fine. But if you need more info just follow this: wash at 30°C (gentle cycle); Do not bleach; Tumble dry low; Iron at low temperature, avoid ironing on print; Do not dry clean.

 

“If i sign up my email, will i get spammed with random shit all the time?”

Nah, the only things we’ll send will be when we have new drops/pieces, discount codes, shop opening/closing, presave links/song release, shows/ticket sales and a reminder when you add stuff to your cart. Don’t expect us to remind you we exist by spamming you everyday, ive had to unsubscribe to so many email listings because of the amount stuff they send. its so annoying.

 

“Will my mates think i look sick in the clothes?”

Can’t guarantee it, but there’s a good chance of it. Even if they don’t, i will.

 

“Is it okay to buy merch if i’ve only heard one song?”

yeah that’s ok i guess.

 

“Can i wear this to a j*b interview?”

 

you can, but again, i can’t guarantee you’ll get the job lmao.
